Where the road led: new places, flights and firesides.

Day 4 · October 22, 2026

A Quiet Rest at Gallows' End

The day began before dawn at Gallows' End Tavern, the Tirisfal air cold and damp against my bones. I walked on to Brill while the sky was still dark, then returned to the tavern's shelter before the light had come.

Day 4 · October 22, 2026

A Short Rest at Gallows' End

The day began in the dark before dawn, beneath the roof of the Gallows' End Tavern in Tirisfal Glades. I stepped out and made my way to Brill, still wrapped in the pre-dawn hush, then returned to the tavern again before the night was done.

Day 3 · October 21, 2026

Five Falls in the Duskwood Gloom

I began the day before dawn in the Gallows' End Tavern, and stepped out into Brill, where the air was cold and smelled of damp earth. I looked in at the Town Hall, then rested at the tavern and again in Brill before setting off through the Glades. My road took me past the Ruins of Lordaeron, where I met Zapetta and Hin Denburg, and on by Balnir Farmstead.

From there I came to The Savage Coast and The Vile Reef in Stranglethorn Vale, and so to Grom'gol Base Camp, which I took a moment to simply look upon. I rested there, spoke with the flight master, Thysta, and learned that I could fly from that place henceforth. I then wandered the wider Stranglethorn Vale and marked it as discovered.

After I fell there (more on that below), I woke in Duskwood. I discovered the land itself, then Raven Hill, then Raven Hill Cemetery. In the end I found myself back at the Gallows' End Tavern in Tirisfal, and walked once more into Brill to rest.

Day 3 · October 21, 2026

Pumpkins, Zeppelins, and Five Falls into Darkness

I woke the day in Gallows' End Tavern, Tirisfal Glades, with the dark still thick before dawn, and walked the short way to Brill. I stopped at the Town Hall, then returned to the tavern to rest, and to Brill again before setting out across the glades. My road took me through the Ruins of Lordaeron, where Zapetta spoke of her brother's trade route and begged me to bring her something to eat from Orgrimmar if I came back by zeppelin. Hin Denburg, at the zeppelin, boasted of his flying machine and asked whether I would walk to Grom'Gol or ride in style.

I passed Balnir Farmstead, and then, by the zeppelin, I came to the Savage Coast of Stranglethorn Vale, past the Vile Reef, and into Grom'gol Base Camp. I took in the view there and rested. I met the flight master, Thysta, and learned I could fly from that camp. Soon after I set foot in the wider reaches of Stranglethorn Vale, a new land to me.

Later I came to Duskwood, another land new to me, then Raven Hill, and Raven Hill Cemetery. At last I was back at Gallows' End Tavern in Tirisfal, then Brill, and rested at the tavern again.

Day 3 · October 21, 2026

Five Falls in the Dark of Duskwood

I woke the day in Brill, still before dawn, with the Gallows' End Tavern close at hand. From there I walked through the Ruins of Lordaeron, where the zeppelin tower stands, and past Balnir Farmstead. Then I crossed the water to the Savage Coast and the Vile Reef in Stranglethorn Vale, and came at last to Grom'gol Base Camp. I paused there to take in the view, and I rested a while. I met the flight master, so I can fly from there now. A gryphon... no, the flight master's mount carried me on, and I saw Stranglethorn Vale spread out before me.

Later I came to Duskwood, and then to Raven Hill and its cemetery. Dark country, and I did not know it. By the end I was back in Brill, and I rested again at Gallows' End.

Day 2 · October 20, 2026

From Deathknell's Graves to Undercity's Depths

I began before dawn in Deathknell, among the graves and the quiet church. By the time the sky paled I had gone northwest to Night Web's Hollow, and back again. Then the road led me through Tirisfal Glades: the Solliden Farmstead, Cold Hearth Manor, Stillwater Pond, and at last Brill, with its tavern, Gallows' End. North of Brill lay Garren's Haunt, and I went there too.

Later I passed the Ruins of Lordaeron and descended into Undercity. I wandered the Trade Quarter, the Canals, the War Quarter, the Sewers, the Apothecarium, the Rogues' Quarter and the Magic Quarter, and came up again by the Ruins. At Gallows' End I set my hearthstone, so the tavern is home now.

Day 2 · October 20, 2026

A Paladin Risen in Deathknell, Walking to Undercity

I woke to Deathknell before dawn, among the Forsaken, and the day carried me far from it. I went northwest to Night Web's Hollow, which I found as the light was breaking, then back to Deathknell. From there I took the road into Tirisfal Glades proper and passed Solliden Farmstead, Cold Hearth Manor and Stillwater Pond on my way to Brill.

In Brill I found the Gallows' End Tavern and, later, the Town Hall. North of the town lay Garren's Haunt. Later I walked on to the Ruins of Lordaeron and down into Undercity, where I wandered the Trade Quarter, the Canals, the War Quarter, the Sewers, the Apothecarium, the Rogues' Quarter and the Magic Quarter. I returned to the surface and to the tavern, and there I made my home. The inn's welcome was a gruff one, but I was glad of it.

Day 2 · October 20, 2026

A Paladin Rises in Tirisfal Glades

I woke to the dark before dawn in Deathknell, and the day carried me far from it. Light came gray and slow as I reached Night Web's Hollow to the northwest, then back again, then east along the road past Solliden Farmstead and Cold Hearth Manor, and by Stillwater Pond toward Brill.

Brill was a busy place. I found the Gallows' End Tavern there, and the Town Hall, and later Garren's Haunt to the north. Afterward I walked to the Ruins of Lordaeron and went down into Undercity itself. I wandered the Trade Quarter, the Canals, the War Quarter, the Sewers, the Apothecarium, the Rogues' Quarter and the Magic Quarter, and the whole time the air felt close and cold.

By late morning I was back at Gallows' End, and I made it my home. I ended the day there.

Day 2 · October 20, 2026

From Deathknell's Bells to Brill's Hearth

I began in Deathknell before dawn, and by day's end I had walked a long way from it. The light was coming up grey when I reached Night Web's Hollow. After that I returned to Deathknell and took the road north into the wider Tirisfal Glades. I passed Solliden Farmstead, then Cold Hearth Manor, then Stillwater Pond, each new to me. Brill came next, with its town hall, its tavern, and the northern road to Garren's Haunt. Later I came to the Ruins of Lordaeron and went down into Undercity. I wandered its Trade Quarter, Canals, War Quarter, Sewers, the Apothecarium, the Rogues' Quarter and the Magic Quarter. Then I climbed back up to Brill. I made the Gallows' End Tavern my home, and I write this by its fire.

Waking in the Crypt at Deathknell

The first thing I knew of Tirisfal Glades was Shadow Grave, in the grey light of dawn. I paused to take in the view of it before moving on.
