World of Warcraft: Forever, as it happens
This November, Azeroth becomes a world that never ends. We keep its chronicle as it is written: every blue post, every tale from the road and every film from the bards who walk it.

“This isn't a story about saving Azeroth, it's a story about living in Azeroth.”
Blizzard, introducing Forever's new Riverglades zone at BlizzCon 2026
We mean to take them at their word.
Forever is the Azeroth that stays.
Sixty becomes a home rather than a waypoint. The old world keeps growing around you, nothing you earn is ever swept away by a higher cap, and the land itself is the hero of every tale.
This chronicle follows it every step toward the gates, and every step after: what Blizzard says, what the community finds, and what the bards bring back from the road.
And by the fire at night, we keep one more watch, on the real science that might one day let a person close their eyes and wake somewhere like this. We call it the Emerald Dream.
