Jests and Wind on Red Cloud Mesa
A short midday in Mulgore: a few jokes and a dance at Camp Narache, then a quiet look from Red Cloud Mesa.
The Road
I began the day at Camp Narache, the midday sun high over Mulgore. Before long I walked up to Red Cloud Mesa, a place new to me, and I stopped there a while to take in the view. Then I came back down to Camp Narache, and that was the whole of my wandering.
Fellowship
There was no one at my side today, but I did not let that keep me quiet. Back at camp I told a joke. Then I told another, and then a third, and at last I burst into dance. The whole camp was my audience.
