The Road

The day began in Northshire Valley, with the midday sun high over Elwynn Forest. I did not linger long before pressing on, and soon I came out into the wider forest beyond. I stopped a moment to take in the view; it felt good to see how far the green land ran.

From there my road led me to Stormwind City. I came first into the Valley of Heroes and rested there a while, letting the city's size sink in. Then I wandered on: through the Trade District, down along the Canals, and into The Park. I turned back to the Canals, then walked on to Stormwind Harbor, where I ended the day. It was all a long look at the capital rather than any real work, and I do not regret it.

I began the day in Northshire Valley, under a midday sun, and before long I had stepped out into Elwynn Forest proper. I stopped there a moment to take in the view. It felt like the first page of something large.

From there the road brought me to Stormwind City, and I came into the Valley of Heroes. I rested there a little, the stone and the noise of the city all around me. Then I walked on through the Trade District and down to The Canals. I wandered into The Park, turned back to The Canals, and finally came to Stormwind Harbor. That is where I ended the day, with the sun still high over the water.

I turned back to the Canals and finished at Stormwind Harbor, where I ended the day. The midday light followed me the whole way, and the walk took scarcely nine minutes.
