First Steps at Camp Narache
A brief pause at the edge of Mulgore, where Khimari stood beneath the midday sun and the journey had only just begun.
The Road
I came to Camp Narache in Mulgore at midday. The sun stood high over the grass, the air was warm and carried the smell of earth and cookfires, and the wide plains lay open before me. I did no more than arrive and take in the place. The road itself waits for another day.
